Maple Monkey Bread

Ingredients:

1/2 cup maple sugar or granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 cup butter

2 (16 oz) cans butter flavored refrigerated biscuits

1/2 cup maple syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. In large glass bowl, microwave butter until melted.

Cut biscuits into quarters. Dip each biscuit quarter into butter, then into sugar mixture. Distribute evenly into pan (I use a round bundt cake pan). Stir maple syrup into remaining melted butter and pour entire mixture over biscuit quarters in pan.

Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown and center is cooked through.

Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes. Place a plate or a rimmed pedestal on bundt pan and flip bread over onto plate. The syrup will run out around the base.

Serve immediately.
